Within the framework of the project “Together we are magicians” of the Academic House of Culture, with the support of the Moscow City Department of Culture and the Moscow Agency for the Development of Territories by means of the Mosart Culture, a series of project internships “Made in Cardboardia” - “Cardboard Dependence Days” is launched.

The internship will take place from March 21 to March 29, 2015.

Teachers of cultural centers working with people with disabilities, as well as young artists, designers, architects, and photographers are invited to participate in the internship. During the internship, participants will become familiar with the methods of communication and interaction with people with disabilities, motivation and involving them in the creative process; gain skills in working with space, modeling and creating multiscale objects from cardboard.

During the week, interns at the ROSIZO exhibition center will arrange the space of the Space Odyssey of Cardboardia exhibition, the authors of which were children from orphanages. The curators of the workshop “Made in Cardboardia” together with the interns will post about 150 drawings and collages.

The main stages of the internship:

- concept development;
- preparation of sketches;
- creation of art objects;
- placement of works in the exposition;
- preparation and implementation of the exhibition opening program;

The internship program for the Made in Cardboard workshop has been in place since January 2013. During this time, program participants and workshop curators implemented more than 30 projects, including Night at the Museum (Moscow), Bright People (Moscow), LowLands (Netherlands), International Lohas Festival (Taiwan), and the exhibition "I in the house ”(Tsereteli Gallery, 2014) together with the“ Give Life ”foundation, the Tirana Cardboardia Dream Parade at the Platonov Art Festival (Voronezh), the International Space Performance Laboratory of the Space Odyssey, a workshop with the participation of Spiros Andrelopoulos (Greece) and others.
