Within the framework of the Hermitage Days-2019, the Hermitage Lecture Hall “Around the Painting” will be open, where lecturers will be given by researchers from the State Hermitage and the Kaluga Museum of Fine Arts. For children, the thematic programs “Italian Vacations” and “Ancient-Modern” are planned, as well as a master class on manufacturing Venetian masks. Everyone is invited to the Hermitage-VR cinema, in which on September 27, 28 and 29 it will be possible to watch the film “Hermitage. Immersion in history with Konstantin Khabensky. " Art lovers will get acquainted with new editions in the Hermitage Library. A meeting with representatives of the Agency for Tourism Development of the Kaluga Region will be devoted to World Tourism Day. All the days of the action, the museum will broadcast films about the buildings and collections of the State Hermitage Museum. Music lovers are not forgotten either - a concert-lecture "Russia and Italy: the 19th century in music and painting" will be held for them with the participation of the Kaluga Regional College of Music named after S. I. Taneeva. The action “The Hermitage is Nearby” was organized for the most active - those who attended more than two events of the Days of the Hermitage are guaranteed to receive souvenirs.
