April 12 at 19:00 in the gallery "Belyaevo" Association "Exhibition Halls of Moscow" will open the exhibition "Childhood Curator." This is the first exhibition in the framework of a network art project dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the art historian, curator Vitaly Patsyukov.

The project “Childhood of the Curator” considers a special metric - in personal personal coordinates, superpersonal images of space and time, history and culture of the 20th century flicker. Before us is not only fragments of individual fates born of the memory of childhood, a sensually tangible territory of art opens here.

The key plot of the exposition is the biography page of the curator Vitaly Patsyukov. Autumn 1939 in Evpatoria, the first military winter, evacuation to the Urals, to the city of Chapaevsk, endless Moscow childhood on a small island, at the intersection of Nizhny Radishchevskaya and Fifth Kotelnichesky Lane.

The subject world of childhood is recreated with the help of personal memorabilia: the sea shell that lived in the buffet with my grandmother in Yevpatoriya, a teddy bear, 79, presented for his first year of birth, a silver cup holder with an ornamental print in Hebrew, as well as “color memories” : explosion of a chemical plant and a pinkish-flaming color, a signal military flashlight with changing filters and its purple glow, the emerald green color of a velvet coat of a neighbor’s girl evacuated from Leningrad.

Traveling in the worlds of his personal experiences, the curator captures micro-changes in the mechanisms of culture, combines two completely different “expositions” - the local living space and the entire universe.

Other subjects of the project are the natural dialogues of people, their open, unprotected appearance in front of us, the nearby world of living, objects that are regularly touched by a person’s hand, where the interior and the outer space of life meet at the same time.
