Everyone knows that decorative art has a wide range of species and genres, from decorative and applied (jewelry, small plastic, souvenirs, etc.) to easel (decorative panels, sculpture, art objects) and monumental. The exposition space of the Tushino Hall displays works not only by members of the Decorative Art section, but also by other sections from different regions of Russia: Blagoveshchensk, the Ministry of Water, St. Petersburg, Cheboksary, students of the Moscow State Art Academy named after Stroganov Department of Art Metal and artists from Gzhel.
More than a hundred works of various genres, techniques and materials were specially selected for this exposition and presented in such a way that every art lover could not only consider these works, but also appreciate the quality, craftsmanship, design of the master, feel a bit of the artist’s soul in the mosaic of a picture of the modern world. To determine for himself what place in his own system of spiritual values is occupied by works of modern decorative art, namely, whether emotions give rise to joys, surprises, whether they leave you indifferent or make you think about what you saw!
