The correct answer is 35 kilograms or more… That’s how much, according to photographer Oksana Muzyka, photo equipment weighs with which she doesn’t part in any of her photo trips, the works of which can be seen starting September 2 at the Gallery art club in Moscow. The audience is presented with more than 30. photographs taken in different years in different genres: macro photography, travel photo, landscape, still life and more. The selection criterion for the exhibition “Color Music” from the extensive archive of the photographer, a participant in many off-line and online photo exhibitions, became two components - color and light.

Behind weightless ballet plastic there are always years of rehearsals at the loom, behind the elegance of the Chinese character - tons of written paper, behind the sophistication of landscape design - the strained hands of gardeners. The simplicity of a photograph does not mean the ease of its execution. Going on a photo walk, photographer Oksana Muzyka always takes 3-4 lenses with him. This is how the hunt for light and colors takes place in her photographic world, where every hunter wants to know… The works of Music are laconic, compositionally balanced and simply filled with color. The author herself says about her exhibition that: “When choosing the concept of the exhibition, there were no particular disagreements - this is color and light. What could be more positive than bright color on a sunny day? Naturally, all the photos are post-processed, but initially I try to find out what is called in the right place at the right time. I always pay attention to how interesting the light falls on the subject. This is not necessarily a travel photo. So many works in the genre of "macro photography" are born, for example, a photograph of a rose in dew. That is why the exposition became multi-genre, where the cementing idea was “sunshine, color polyphony, color music”… I love laughter, fun, joy. Throughout my life, I liked when there were happy faces around me, and when I saw longing in the eyes of others, I always wanted to cheer, please. By my exhibition I want to bring a particle of joy to the souls of people who will come to visit me. ”

Oksana Muzyka, photographer with tremendous creative baggage, a participant in a dozen photo projects, a member of the IOF Club (Moscow Open Photo Club), a laureate and participant in many photo contests and photo festivals, such as the Golden Turtle International Photo Project, and the Wild Underwater World underwater photography festival.
