The project is a continuation and sequential development of a series of projects “The Art of High Resolution”, “The Art of Deep Immersion 1, 2, 3, 4” and “Digital Looking Glass 1, 2”, and includes the works of leading digital artists of the country.
Every year, art based on digital technology, gaining new supporters. Highly sensitive matrices and computer algorithms compete on an equal footing with traditional visual means. Digital Art expands and blends the boundaries of old genres. The new world has a digital language.
The range of digital aesthetics is limited only by the artist’s imagination. Impeccable realism and documentary fixation of fantastic landscapes are available to her; she combines commercial gloss and museum rigor. A digital image is nothing more than an ordered set of pixels. But, perceiving it through the analog input of the senses, the human brain gives rise to illusions comparable in reliability with the surrounding reality. The line between digital and reality is no more.
At the group exhibition “Digital Looking Glass-3: A Billion Pixels” it will be possible to immerse yourself in augmented reality and become a participant in 3D installations. Also, along with interactive projections and stereo panels, works in classical techniques dedicated to the new digital world will be presented.
As part of the exhibition, an event program is planned, master classes and meetings with artists will be held.
Among the project participants: Konstantin Khudyakov, Mikhail Zaikin, Valentin Korzhov, Alexey Belyaev-Gintovt, Alexander Zakharov, Gleb Kosorukov, Alexey Dyakov, Alexey Andreev, Anton Batishev, Andronik Poloz and others.
