A saxophone with a whole palette of shades of its own timbre and unique individuality of voice from baritone to soprano is perfect not only for popular melodies familiar from childhood or stunning jazz solos, but also copes with the versatility of academic music.
At the KAMER-Fest festival, the SA-Quartet saxophonists ensemble will demonstrate the unlimited possibilities of the saxophone, encompassing music from different eras and styles. Baroque, classicism, romanticism, works of modern composers - for the saxophone there are no boundaries, neither in time nor in space.
The Yekaterinburg ensemble of saxophonists “PO-Quartet” has existed since April 2011. The graduates of the Ural State Conservatory named after Mussorgsky of different years:
- laureate of international competitions Alexey Zakharov (soprano saxophone),
- Laureate of international competitions Tamara Paramonova (alto saxophone),
- Lyudmila Puzanova (tenor saxophone),
- Pavel Lashuk (tenor saxophone).
