The watercolor school of Sergei Andriyaka invites everyone to the amazingly beautiful exhibition “Botanical painting. Science and Art ”, which will be held from October 19 to November 18, 2018. As part of the exposition, you will see old graphics, prints, books, albums, fabrics, embroidery, porcelain, drawings for wallpapers, where one way or another there are images of representatives of the“ Kingdom of Flora ". In the windows of the exhibition you can see lovely little albumists, where the young ladies of the 19th century painted cute watercolor bouquets, and the gentlemen wrote love poems.
Unique and interesting art pieces from collections of collectors, as well as works by contemporary artists, make the exposition interesting and diverse.
The opening of the exhibition awaits the visitors of the exhibition - for the first time beautiful, watercolors by the painter Konstantin Tikhonovich Mankov, striking with subtle elaboration of details, are exhibited. Konstantin Tikhonovich won fame as an unsurpassed master of art painting, whose technical skill and artistic taste were repeatedly noted at All-Russian art exhibitions.
Specially for this project, the designer of the Creative Association “AGORApro” Anna Tolstikova, using modern IT technologies, created the “Floral Clock” designer scarf. Olga Ionaitis, an illustrator of children’s books, presented two beautiful floral arrangements at the exhibition. Like fairy fairies of forests and meadows, we see such familiar plants as clover, nettle, burdock and wormwood, written by the artist Marina Hankova, working in the Russian style.
The exhibition will feature items from the collection of the Museum of Decorative, Applied and Folk Art, the State Museum of A.S. Pushkin, Scientific Library of Moscow State University Lomonosov Museum-Estate "Arkhangelsk", Biological Museum named after K.A. Timiryazev and, of course, you will see the work of artists, teachers and students of the School of Watercolor, as well as students of the Academy of Watercolor and Fine Arts, whose artistic director is People’s Artist of Russia Sergey Nikolaevich Andriyaka.
The exhibition runs until November 18, 2018.
