"BIG DISCOVERY. LOOK AT THE WORLD" in the art center EXPOSED Automatic translate
November 12 at 19:00 in the art center Exposed (Shabolovka St., 31G) will officially open several exhibition projects dedicated to the beauty and uniqueness of different continents and countries. The authors will be foreign and domestic photographers and artists.
Part of the “Window to Africa” exposition will present unusual photographs of John Kenny, telling about proud and strong peoples living in the harsh conditions of the African continent. John’s work has been featured at many international fairs, in newspapers and magazines, and at Sotheby’s in New York. At the end of this year, John is going to take a new three-month trip to the most remote places in India, impressions of which will become the basis of the next exhibition.
In parallel, the exhibition "Fragments of Asia" will demonstrate a number of artistic photographs, paintings and furniture that convey the beauty and tranquility of the world’s most energetic continent. The works of local artisans, as well as British and American artists, telling about different Asian countries: Burma, Indonesia, Vietnam, India, will be exhibited. Among the authors: James Sparshat, Rachel Dalzell, Monica Denevan.
The general partner of the exhibition was the magazine Around the World. Exposed founder Ken Climie commented: “I am very pleased that, with the support of Around the World magazine, we were able to bring to Moscow and convey to the audience unique impressions and sensations from different parts of the Earth.” On the same day, on the ground floor of the art center, photographer Olga Konovalova and the Exposed Creative Group team will present a special project - a photo story “Greek Dreams”, inspired by the ancient culture of Ancient Greece. The interweaving of Greek myths and the beauty of the human body gave rise to an unusual series of photographs made in the style of art nude.
