The lecture will be devoted to the actual language of landscape photography, the aesthetics of pictures. Within its framework, features and criteria for evaluating the works of photography in the context of contemporary art will be considered. The lecture participants will learn the traditional topics in landscape photography, their origins and modern interpretations. As an example, the works of iconic landscape painters will be considered - from classic paintings to contemporary photographs. Dmitry will also share his experience in creating photographs and present his own works in the genre of landscape photography.

Professional art critic Dmitry took up photography in order to become the best critic himself and understand the artist’s creative processes from the inside, from the point of view of the author. His views on contemporary art are weighed, tested by experience and, most importantly, flavored with excellent visual taste, which makes him an interesting lecturer and interlocutor in almost any audience.
