Arte Laguna Announces 8th Annual Awards Automatic translate

The Arte Lagoon International Prize aims to promote and develop contemporary visual art. Finalist exhibitions will be held: in March 2014 in the Venice Arsenal, on the innovative platform Telecom Italia Future Center and a special selection for the age group under 25 years old - at the Romanian Institute of Culture and Humanistic Studies in Venice.

Nominations: 1) painting, 2) sculpture, 3) art photography, 4) video art and performance, 5) virtual and digital art

Total Prize Pool: € 180,000

Participation: the competition is open to all artists, regardless of age, gender or nationality.

Application deadline: you can register online until October 30, 2013 (for special prizes - until October 9).

The international jury is represented by leading art critics, curators and museum directors. CURATOR Igor Zanti (Italy, curator, art critic), Jury Enrico Bettinello, Sylvia Ferri de Lazzara, Victoria Lu, Domenico Quaranta, Veerangana Kumari Solanki, Miguel Amado, Sabrina van der Lei, Andrea Viliani, Jonathan Wotkin.
