The grand premiere of the exhibition will be the exposition of the originals of the great genius - Salvador Dali. The Spanish painter, graphic artist, sculptor, director and writer is one of the most famous representatives of surrealism. Dali proclaimed complete freedom from any aesthetic or moral coercion and went to the very extremes in any creative experiment.

Visitors to the exhibition will be able to see a unique series of lithographs by the great artist - “Biblia Sacra”.

When it comes to the Bible or its illustrations, the last thing that may come to mind is probably the work of Salvador Dali. Nevertheless, almost half a century ago in Italy, a unique version of the Bible was released with illustrations of a world-famous artist. And they didn’t just let it out, but with the blessing of the Pope, who was one of the first to receive as a present this amazing edition of the Holy Scripture, bound in white leather and gold.

The author’s style of the master of Salvador allows you to take a different look at the familiar and familiar from childhood stories, known for the traditional editions of the Old and New Testaments.

The Biblia Sacra series, which visitors to the Art Voronezh exhibition will see, is 70 lithographs made in mixed media, printed in seven colors, and not four, as is usually done in printing. This is one of the largest works of Salvador Dali. Each print is an original and has an independent art and museum value.

For the first time a series of engravings “The Search for the Grail” will be demonstrated, which is an illustration of Salvador Dali made using the “dry needle” technique. Each sheet is personally signed by a great artist.

The “Twelve Tribes” series by Salvador Dali is rightfully considered one of the most important and significant, both in the work of the Dali-graphic and in the history of Israel.
