Art project "I carry all my own" Lena Lapshina (Vienna, Austria) at the Tea Factory Automatic translate
An Austrian artist of Russian origin, Lena Lapshina, presents the first solo exhibition in Ukraine, created specifically for the Tea Factory Factory, Odessa.
“I carry all my things with me” (omnia mea mecum porto) research art project in the field of social communications, using modern art. The author offers the viewer the role of "accomplice." This is primarily a joint gesture, when the viewer loses the usual passive contemplative function and becomes the creator of the ideas of the proposed project in time, or rather, the total time, not divided by the boundary of the identification of “who is the viewer” and “who is the artist”.
The project is built around the artist’s new installation, “I Carry All My Own” (2013), which reflects a look at the main themes of creativity - the randomness of everyday life, full of absurdity and comments surrounding society, in the spirit of the times…. When watching a video program, visitors are strongly advised to repeat a special exercise program. For best results, please bring your “sports equipment".
The Lena Lapshina art project “I carry my everything with me” is supported by the Federal Ministry of Education, Culture and Art of the Republic of Austria, Bundesministerium fur Unterricht, Kunst und Kultur (Austrian Federal Ministry for Education, Arts and Culture) and Kultur Niederosterreich "Culture of Lower Austria."
Opening of the exhibition July 2 at 18.00.
The exhibition runs from July 2 to July 20, 2013.
