Art project Surprise Anna Bykova (Kharkov) NCCA "Tea Factory" Odessa Automatic translate
Anna Bykova is one of the most dynamically developing young artists of the domestic art scene.
The only Ukrainian young artist included in the shortlist of the contest from Google and Saatchi Gallery (London).
It is worth noting that Anna is actively mastering the latest visual media in contemporary art, practicing interdisciplinary relationships and experiments that break the traditional idea of the possibilities of contemporary art.
Anna Bykova currently lives and is educated simultaneously in Kharkov and Moscow: Kharkov State Academy of Design and Arts, faculty of monumental painting and the Moscow Rodchenko School of Photography and Multimedia, in the workshop of video art Kirill Preobrazhensky, studying art criticism by Ekaterina Degot and David Riff.
An author who expresses himself in contrast to the bulk of today’s young artists through powerful visual messages and a viewer who has recently been accustomed to the text and needs such explanations will be satisfied with those in the premises of the NCCA Tea Factory (Odessa).
The Surprise art project is a media installation that transforms the art phenomena of painting and video that are traditionally acceptable to the viewer’s consciousness, stereotypically as self-sufficient and disjoint among themselves, into a completely new interactive space that erases the boundaries of conscious visual structures.
