Art project "Void Density" Automatic translate
The art project “Void Density” starts on May 29 at the ARTPLAY SPb Design Center. The viewer will plunge into the space of augmented reality and go beyond the usual perception of works of art. The only mediator between him and the artist’s world, real and virtual space, will be an integral element of modern life - a smartphone. Using the Alchemy application, through the black square of the “Space of Void”, the viewer will be left with a one-on-one picture hidden in it.
The project presents the work of 11 artists from Russia, Belarus, France and the United States: Alexei Zakharov, Alexei Andreyev, Olga Krohicheva, Mila Sketch, Sergey Kolesov, Andrey Surnov, Anton Semenov, Artyom Chebokhi, Taras Pashchenko, Leonid Zarubin, Evgeny Yanovich. The author of the application is Mikhail Ershov.
The exhibition, which has no analogues in the world, involves more than 100 works arranged in a certain sequence: through graphics and painting to digital art, animation and three-dimensional graphics. Immersion in the world of augmented reality will begin on the 3rd floor of ARTPLAY SPb, from the Abramova Gallery (E3-130), where the viewer will receive not only the plan of the exhibition and instructions, but also the opportunity to take with him a piece of the virtual world.
At Museum Night, a group of artists announced the exhibition for the first time, reviving signs for a pedestrian crossing, a bus stop and a map of the St. Petersburg metro. After downloading the application, you can see the announcement of the art project "Void Density" right now on the city streets.
