Exhibition and Sale of Painting and Graphics

Artcultivator, Vagabond gallery and Colombina room showrooms present an exhibition of paintings and graphics by Anna Vladimirova-Lavrova “Fragments”.

The exhibition, which will unfold on two Moscow venues (in the COLOMBINA room salons in Krylatsky and Sokol), will show more than 50 paintings and graphic works by the author. Each canvas or graphic sheet is a unique work that can replenish a personal art collection, decorate the interior of a house or office, and will be a wonderful gift for friends and relatives.

Koktebel, Gorokhovets, Vitebsk, Moscow, Kotor, Gelendzhik, Plovdiv… Traveling for the artist is not just pleasant episodes, but also a creative necessity. The artist seeks inspiration in the winding streets of old towns, among the dense trunks of juniper groves, on the terrace of an old village house and even on a bed of cabbage. Her tulips, Kalanchoe, sunflowers or oleanders, woven into a realistic landscape or in abstract ornamental forms, create outlandish beauty images that are close to the motifs of the modern style.

Anna Vladimrova-Lavrova: “Once I realized that it was in my power to change reality on canvas. Accepting an idea is one thing; letting yourself use this idea in practice is another. The artist takes in nature, analyzes and feels it, trusting his hand and intuition. As a result, a collision occurs on the plane, or, better to say, the merging of the internal, personal, and external - the energy of the depicted places or objects, accumulated by time and people. This is expressed in color, shape, plastic and composition. The plane of a canvas or graphic sheet is a synthesis of one’s own thoughts and ways of working, the energy of the outside world and the energy of the unknowable. My works are fragments of life, stretched over time.

The opening of the exhibition will take place on October 6 at 17-00 in the Colombina room salon at 10 Autumn Boulevard, building. 1 (metro Krylatskoe).

ANNA VLADIMIROVA-LAVROVA was born in 1980 in Moscow. She studied at an art school, she graduated from the art and graphic faculty of Moscow State Pedagogical University. Lenin. Member of the Creative Union of Russian Artists, participant in numerous art exhibitions in Moscow, St. Petersburg, Belgium. Works in painting and graphic techniques (watercolor, gouache, pastel, pencils, charcoal, collage) in the genres of landscape, still life and decorative geometric abstraction. Works are in private collections in Russia and abroad.

VAGABOND gallery is a new project of Artcultivator. This is a gallery in a suitcase, a gallery-wanderer or a tramp. The goal of the project is not to become attached to one place, to conduct full-fledged exhibition activities, to represent the interests of artists wherever they will be happy with real art - in shops, offices, markets, universities, cafes, theaters, airports, police stations :) Art and its buyers are more likely to be there, rather than in exhibition halls and galleries.
