Anna Sorokina is a young artist, with a very special attitude to the world, having her own style in creativity. Her author’s technique, based on engraving on cardboard, reflects the metaphysical aspect of creation and dissolution, the two components of being balancing each other, because the original form, the cliché, dies during printing, leaving a graphic work on paper as an imprint of an event on the canvas of history. Thus, the bulk of the works of Anna Sorokina is printed in a single copy.

Engravings by Anna Sorokina attract author’s originality, rhythm and freedom of drawing. Her works are mostly monochrome, she uses the addressing color, always appropriate, focusing on him.

Anna Sorokina was born in Sevastopol in 1989.

She studied at the Sevastopol Art School under M. M. Guriev.

She graduated from the Art College. N. S. Samokish with a degree in design and the Crimean Institute of the Ukrainian Academy of Printing with a degree in fine art (graphics).

He teaches at the Sevastopol Art School.

He is a member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine since 2013 and a member of the Union of Artists of Russia since 2015, a member of the Regional Public Organization of the Sevastopol Academy of Abstract Art since 2014.

She has taken part in more than thirty exhibitions in Russia, Ukraine and Germany. The author of three solo exhibitions.

Works in the author’s technique of engraving on cardboard. He is also engaged in painting, illustration of his own compositions, mosaic of sea pebbles, ceramics.
