Druzhinina, etc. Elena Fedorovna has participated in many regional, republican, international and foreign exhibitions since 1975, and personal exhibitions since 1975. 1996 year. The art of Elena Mukhina is well known to Muscovites. Seventeen years ago, she literally burst into the artistic space of the capital, striking with the energy of her canvases and graphic sheets, leaving no room for indifference. What, then, at the first personal exhibition in Moscow attracted the famous Yaroslavl artist in art? The originality of the vision of the world? A peculiar interpretation of images? Their unexpected openness of feelings? The audacity of formal decisions? Probably all taken together, and also - sincerity, passion for the profession and a special light - the light of love, which literally then bewitched and intrigued the viewer.

Time has not erased or diminished these qualities. The images of the series "Big Nudes", "Dance", "Motherhood", marked by the greatness of being the fair sex, embody a certain intimacy and at the same time the everyday life of the world of a modern woman. Following the tradition of the Russian popular print, EF Mukhina often uses in these works the method of introducing verbal explanations into the image. Picturesque cycles "Indian Summer", "Bathhouse", "Summer Fun", "My angel be with me", "I am seven I" are permeated with an extraordinary feeling of warmth, rhythm of life. The freedom and imagination of the artist’s compositional thinking, decisiveness, swiftness in drawing and the subtle harmony of the pictorial organization of the canvas give rise to images that are exciting and memorable. In them we find and recognize the manifestations so characteristic of people in life: passion or shyness,nervous tension at the level of exhaustion or enveloping all softness and tenderness…
