Composition based on the immortal book of Lewis Carroll "Alice in Wonderland."
The music for the fairy tale was written by the modern Russian composer Alexander Rosenblatt: “Lewis Carroll joked about literature, poetry, he played with words, created puns. “In Alice, eighty themes of world classics turned upside down.” The familiar melodies of composers of past eras - A. Borodin, F. Schubert, F. Chopin, J. Bizet, E. Grieg, C. Debussy, I. Stravinsky - are interwoven into the musical score, but in an unexpected, modern and original sound.
The Gnesinsky Virtuosos Orchestra will perform on the stage. Gnesins. The tale is read by the artist of the Moscow Philharmonic Victoria Zakharova. The presentation is accompanied by a video film created on the basis of children’s drawings: this year, young artists exceeded the festival’s 10-year record by sending more than 500 drawings from different cities of Russia (video director Anna Zankova).
