My name is Alisa Maslova. I was born in 1991 in the city of Votkinsk, not far from Izhevsk. All my childhood and youth were spent in this quiet and cozy city, which I love very much. This is where my life and my development as an artist began. I spent the summer at the dacha with my parents, and this was the beginning of my love for nature and my observations of what surrounded me. I loved to draw our garden, flowers, of which we had a lot of different colors and varieties, mom and dad at work in the garden: they picked berries, chopped firewood, watered beds from hoses on a hot day, hung clothes on ropes. I especially liked to look at the neighboring country houses, lopsided from time to time and painted in white and gray-blue colors, faded in the sun. In the evening, when we arrived from the dacha, I loved to look out the window at sunsets and people passing by. All these motifs and plots were displayed and displayed in my works to this day.
After graduating from the university in Izhevsk in 2016, I went to live in St. Petersburg and, living in this beautiful city, I still remember my modest and beloved city of Votkinsk with warmth and love. And when summer comes, I go home and spend time drawing in the country, and then again I feel like that girl from childhood who loves silence and country life.
