The Museum of Russian Impressionism presents a program of art workshops for children. Last season of the program, we already got acquainted with the works of outstanding artists, were inspired by their creativity, now it’s time to turn on the fantasy and invent our masterpieces. Master classes will be held in the studio of the Museum of Russian Impressionism.. The artist-teacher will tell you what a still-life is, a portrait, explain the difference between graphics and painting, teach how to make collages, sketches.
November 25. Draw a bike on a sunny street. We will invent an unusual composition with a bicycle. Let’s fantasize and add a window, favorite flowers in pots and stone pavement. And if we want, next we will draw ourselves! Materials: watercolor, oil pastel, gouache.
December 2nd. We draw a summer still life with citrus. Despite the cold and gray paint outside the window, we will inspire with bright still lifes of famous artists and draw our own. We will use the most cheerful colors: yellow, peach, orange and green. Materials: watercolor, gouache, oil pastel.

January 6. Draw a fluffy Christmas wreath. We will decorate coniferous, fluffy branches with our favorite Christmas decorations. Dry brush will learn to transfer their texture. January 27th. We draw a fluffy fox in a snowy forest. Consider the slides with a furry fox. Learn to draw the silhouette of the animal, to transfer the texture of wool. Let’s move the fox into the winter forest, and surround it with openwork trees, snowflakes, snow drifts. Materials: watercolor, gouache.
The teacher is an artist Ksenia Galitskaya. A graduate of the College of Applied Arts at the Academy. Stroganov. She studied at the British Higher School of Design, the Free Workshops Modern Art School (MMOMA). In 2016 she graduated from the Bachelor of the Russian State University for the Humanities with a degree in Cultural Studies. For many years he has been leading master classes for adults and children of different ages.
