In the anniversary year, the Historical Museum invites visitors to spend 150 exciting evenings in the buildings of the museum complex. Specially designed program formats from the leading specialists of the museum will be an excellent opportunity to learn more about the culture and history of Russia.

From January 2022, on Fridays, the Historical Museum will host theatrical evenings, during which visitors will be presented with costumed thematic and musical and poetic excursions. In honor of the anniversary year, every visitor who has bought a ticket for a theatrical program as part of the 150 Evenings with the State Historical Museum‎ cycle will be able to take advantage of a 50% discount on one of any theatrical tours of the next month.

A new project of the anniversary year will be "Historical Thursday". Once a month, on Thursdays, the Historical Museum extends its opening hours until 21:00 only for participants in the action and holds special displays of unique monuments from museum funds. Visitors will also be able to take part in interactive and thematic tours, creative events and workshops.

A special reason to visit the museum will be a specially prepared concert program. Classical music performed by leading orchestras, ensembles, choirs and soloists will be performed in the State Hall of the Historical Museum. Spectators will be treated to performances by the Bolshoi Theater Violin Ensemble, the Ensemble of Soloists of the E.F. Svetlanov State Symphony Orchestra, the String Quartet of the Moscow State Academic Philharmonic Orchestra, the Tchaikovsky Orchestra, and many others.
