In London, street artists will paint in the style of Klimt Automatic translate

Nine world-famous street artists will paint Klimt’s masterpieces in front of a live audience in the Grosvenor Garden, London, on Tuesday, August 21. The action was organized by the Vienna Tourism Board and is dedicated to the celebration of the 150th anniversary of the famous Austrian artist.

The theme of the exhibition will be Vienna itself, as a city with rich cultural, theatrical traditions and historical heritage. All completed work will be shown in the famous Lazarides Gallery in Soho, as part of the Klimt. Illustrations ”(Klimt Illustrated). The exhibition will work for free, entrance to the Lazrides Museum from August 24 to September 1 will also be free.

The Vienna Tourism Board has done a great job to select the best artists for the action. Among them were eight Englishmen, little known to the general public, and one American, Shepard Fairey, a well-known contemporary American artist and illustrator. The musical accompaniment of the holiday will be organized by the best Austrian DJs.

The Gustav Klimt Jubilee celebration program in the UK also includes an extensive exhibition program at a number of London museums and online projects.
