Biennale of Contemporary Art Launches in A Coruña Automatic translate
On July 31, the international exhibition of contemporary museum art, Fenosa Gas Natural, began in A Coruña. The exhibition takes place every two years, and strive to show the diversity and eclecticism of new artistic trends. This year the exposition is composed of 56 works by aspiring artists who were selected from nearly 600 works presented for this event. In addition to fine art, the exhibition will demonstrate audio and video installations, photo collages.
Santiago Talavera (Santiago Talavera, Albacete, 1979) received the first prize of the twelfth biennale of contemporary art at 18,000 euros for a composition of three large paintings made by pastel. The Julian Trincado Prize, awarded out of competition by the City Hall of A Coruña, went to Ourense Feijoo for his gouache work on paper, printed in Braille.
Works for the exhibition are presented by artists from 37 countries. For the general public, the exhibition will be open until October 28.
