At the opening of the exhibition, connoisseurs of painting were pleased with 12 piano works by Parashkev Hadzhiev, Veselin Stoyanova, Pancho Vladigerova. “If someone decided to visit Plovdiv, then he probably will have the opportunity to find one hour to get acquainted with the best Bulgarian artists and sculptors,” said the artist Emil Penchev.
The exhibition in Plovdiv is dedicated to the centennial of the Art Union. An important goal of the exposition, its spirit, is to revive the creative and economic potential of Southern Bulgarian artists, which for many years after the collapse of the socialist camp was practically lost.
The exhibition will continue until May 5.
Emil Penchev introduced “Requiem” - a canvas made in a mixed technique of classic and abstract style. After Plovdiv, the painting will take a place at his personal exhibition in Burgas.
Pictures are exhibited in three halls of the company in Plovdiv - in the Gladstone exhibition hall, in the Plovdiv gallery and in the Plovdiv Gallery shopping center.
