In Chelyabinsk, they remembered the director and caring person Yevgeny Sadakov Automatic translate
CHELYABINSK. In the cinema "Banner" there was a retrospective of the author’s cinema of Evgeny Sadakov.
The evening of author’s cinema by Yevgeny Sadakov, which took place on September 10 at the Znamya cinema, was very important for those who knew this talented person and wanted to share their memories of him. "Don Quixote with a movie camera," as he was called, belonged to a gradually departing generation of the sixties.
In March 1963, an amateur film studio was opened at the Chelyabinsk Scientific Research Institute of Measurement and Technology, where he worked as an engineer for 30 years. Fashion for them appeared in the mid-20s, and each self-respecting organization sought to acquire its own circle of this profile. At first, the scripts of the films shot in Sadakov’s studio did not go beyond the “chronicle” of the life of a large and friendly team with its holidays, trips out of town, and sports competitions. Other plots came a bit later: about the author’s song, which Sadakov loved very much, about Grushinka and festivals at BAM, and about extreme hiking trips.
The archive has preserved the tape “Wind, rocks, snow”, dedicated to the tragedy on the Dyatlov Pass and to people who passed away in a mysterious and incomprehensible way. The perestroika period also made adjustments to the theme of films. Sadakov recorded the most acute and important events. The 16-millimeter camera captures the unrest of miners, the rallies that came back from the exile of Andrei Sakharov (the film “The Truth of One Man”), Leonid Obolensky (the film “Spirit and Flesh”) - a talented actor and director with an interesting and very difficult fate. Sadakov did not interrupt communication with him even during periods when the attitude of those in power was very negative towards Leonid Leonidovich.
Sadakov Studio for many years was a place of attraction for representatives of the creative intelligentsia of Chelyabinsk. The main message of his paintings is a union, not a constant confrontation, which is important to remember now.
