Geza Ryorig was born in Budapest. Founder of the underground punk band Huckleberry, he studied Hungarian and Polish at the university. In 1989, he entered the Academy of Drama and Cinema in Budapest and starred in two Hungarian films (Armelle, dir. Andras Shoyom, 1988 and Eszmélet (Consciousness), dir. Jozsef Madaras, 1989).
