The performance "Special People" in the theater on Malaya Bronnaya opened the Small Stage Automatic translate
MOSCOW. The theater on Malaya Bronnaya received another stage space - the Small Stage. The first performance presented to the audience in the new chamber hall on March 4 was the new version of the production of “Special People”. To create this performance, a play was written by the Samara playwright Alexander Ignashov.
The play "Special People" was the first performance where they talk about the problems of parents with children with special needs. The authors of the idea of creating a play that touched on this difficult topic was a group of enthusiasts - theater artists and his artistic director, Sergei Golomazov.
For the first time, a play based on the play by Alexander Ignashov was shown in 2014. Then the director of "Special People" was one of the authors of the idea, artist Artemy Nikolaev. Initially, this performance, which touched on the theme of childhood autism, was created as a charity. Authors and performers transfer all income received from it to the Center for Medical Pedagogy.
The first version of the play received good reviews from critics and the public. At the Golden Knight forum last year, “Special People” were awarded with a special diploma. The performance was shown in Yekaterinburg, and the capital’s theater-goers could see this production in the Boyars’ Chambers, where Special People were shown for two months.
Creating a play that uses real stories that happened with parents of autistic children, the author did not want to pity them. Special people look at the world around them differently, however, learning to listen to and understand them is not so difficult. The director Sergei Golomazov worked on the embodiment of the play "Special People", shown on the Small Stage on the day of its opening. Now it will be shown in the new theater space, which can accommodate one hundred spectators.
