During this time, many important events took place in the theater - the Youth Theater was called the name of its founder, the performance "The Little Humpbacked Horse" left the repertoire and returned to the theater stage. Various directors worked on its restoration, introducing something new in their version of the play. The image of The Little Humpbacked Horse firmly took the place of the theater’s emblem, and the first performance, staged almost a hundred years ago, became the hallmark of the theater for children.

Now in the repertoire of the Youth Theater the latest version of "The Little Humpbacked Horse" is presented. Its renewal in 2013 was carried out by Vladimir Todorov, Honored Artist of the Russian Federation. In this performance, he took his first steps in the profession more than 50 years ago, entering the stage in mass scenes. Then in the same performance he played the role of a storyteller.

The director says that this performance, which has existed for such a long time, has not turned into "antiques." The Little Humpbacked Horse remains a lively and modern performance, as before attracting the attention of the public of any age.

Now, the great-grandchildren of the audience, once conquered by the adventures of Ivan and, who saves him from troubles, a devoted friend - the Little Humpbacked Horse - come to this performance. On a holiday, the role of the Little Humpbacked Horse was played by Alexander Ladygin, and in the image of Ivan, Nikita Ostrikov appeared on the stage.
