"Hello, Pushkin!" - in the repertoire of the Romen Theater a new performance dedicated to the great Poet has appeared Automatic translate
MOSCOW. The unique metropolitan theater "Romen" on New Year’s Eve presented to its fans a new work by director Georgy Pearl "Hello, Pushkin!" The director attributed his production to the genre of musical-romantic fantasy, since in the performance real events from the Poet’s life intertwined with mystical plots.
When creating the play, a play was written by Arnold Hessen and Ivan Rom-Lebedev. Once upon a time in the theater’s repertoire there was already a performance of the same name staged on this play. He enjoyed success with the audience, however, for some reason he was removed from the repertoire. When George Zhemchuzhny had thoughts about returning the performance to the stage, mysticism began - the play disappeared, it could not be found in the archives of the theater.
Her appearance was also mystical - an almost "blind" copy of the play was found as soon as a serious candidate for the role of Pushkin, the grandson of George Zhemchuzhny Andrey, matured for serious work. The authors of the play wrote it based on biographical materials, among which was the poet’s correspondence with friends, relatives and other contemporaries.
Since most of the repertoire of the Romen Theater is dedicated to the life of the gypsy people, the performance “Hello, Pushkin!” Reveals the theme of “Pushkin and Gypsies”. The events touched upon in the performance take place in the period beginning with the poet’s first link, completed by his wedding with Natalia Goncharova.
It was the nineteenth century when gypsies were welcome guests at social events. A fan of the gypsies was Pushkin, who was interested not only in creativity, but also in the life of this people. The performance includes excerpts from the poem “Gypsies”, a lot of wonderful music, dances and songs, and in the mass scenes the whole troupe of the theater appears before the audience.
