Theater festival from Poland arrived at the Gavrosh 2015 festival, which opened in Moscow Automatic translate
MOSCOW. The opening of the Gavrosh festival took place on the stage of the Teatrium na Serpukhovka, whose participants present performances created for children. This theater forum is gathering in Moscow for the ninth time.
Its main feature is that every year it presents theatrical art of one country. The organizers of Gavrosh believe that in this way the festival allows young spectators to get to know its culture more fully. So far, only European countries have participated in the project.
In previous festival meetings, young theatergoers managed to get acquainted with the theatrical art of France and Germany, Sweden and Italy, Denmark and the Netherlands. This year theatrical groups who came to Moscow from Polish cities represent their skills.
Theatrical traditions of Poland are similar to Russian ones. In the performances of Polish theaters, large-scale sets are often used, a large number of actors participate in them, directors use original production formats.
The Bai Pomeranian Theater was the first to present its work in the festival program. On the opening day of the festival, viewers saw an original performance staged in a television show format. So its creators told a fairy tale about a child who does not find a common language with his parents.
Most of the performances are intended for kids, but the program has theatrical works for an older audience. In total, Polish artists will show in the capital about 30 productions of various genres. The festival involves groups working in various forms - traditional theater, puppetry and modern dance.
The festival program also found time for the communication of theatrical figures, and for conducting fascinating master classes. There is also a program for “special” children.
