PETROZAVODSK. The premiere of the opera The Magic Flute completed the season of the Musical Theater of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The creation of this complex opera performance was directed by Georgy Isahakyan. The director added modernity to his production, consisting of three storylines, as if framing the fate of Mozart. He succeeded with the help of the city residents, who passed a difficult casting, who selected the most talented ones to participate in the creation of the play.

Now they took the stage in the roles of sightseers watching the rehearsals of the opera. The children participating in the performance, playing the roles of papagenyat, added even more magic and fabulousness to opera images. The director of the production believes that participation in the production of people who were previously far from opera will arouse their desire to attend opera performances again and again.

It is especially important that children plunged into the atmosphere of the theater, for whom close acquaintance with the world of the theater became a unique experience, making it possible to understand that the action taking place on the stage gives more joy than what was seen on the TV screen. In total, the production of The Magic Flute by Georgy Isahakyan involved sixty artists, of whom twenty were children.

The performance was designed by production designer Philipp Vinogradov. According to the sketches created by the artist, more than a hundred costumes corresponding to the Mozart era were made in the sewing workshop. Five types of fabric were used to create them, and complex manual finishing was performed. Original costumes were complemented by wigs, also made by the masters of the theater, and amazing masks.

The magnificent embodiment of the theater artists of the complex creation of Mozart was appreciated by the audience. In the finale, the audience thanked the performers for the pleasure with long applause.
