PERMIAN. Fans of poetic and theatrical art, who visited the actor’s Perm House on May 25, witnessed the birth of a new project, thanks to which independent theater production will be created in Perm. Thanks to this project, which received the name “Art Residence” from its creators, professional artists from different theaters will have the opportunity to create joint performances.
This will give viewers the opportunity to more often see their favorite artists playing in a single ensemble the new, original productions they have born. The premiere of the play, created by Dmitry Zabolotsky, the head of the Perm Theater "Big Laundry", the audience could see thanks to this project.
The basis for the performance presented to the audience under the title “Black and White” was satirical poems written by the famous poet Sasha Cherny, one of the classics of Russian satirical literature. Most of his satirical works were written at the beginning of the last century, but they sound surprisingly relevant today.
The creators of the play, using the verses and prose of Sasha Cherny, trace the main stages of the life path of his lyrical hero - dramas of love and disappointment in their chosen ones, creative torment and conflicts with their colleagues. Participants of the play are sure that their work will be an excellent occasion for young Perm spectators to continue acquaintance with the work of Sasha Cherny.
Already outside the auditorium, reading poetry of an amazing fate, lovers of poetry will be able to recall the unique, irony-filled intonation of Sasha Black, performed by the participants of the play “Black and White”.
The scenery of the play is mobile, which will allow it to be shown on other stages.
