Almost all theatrical universities of the country will show diploma performances of their students in Yaroslavl, where the youth forum “The Future of Theater Russia.” Was opened for the seventh time. The main program of the festival is to show performances, which are the thesis of graduates of Russian theater schools. The directors of these performances were graduate directors. Festival participants will be able to improve their skills not only in acting disciplines, but also get acquainted with the specialty of theater critic. During the festival week, exhibitors will be presented exhibitions where the works of theater artists will be presented in the form of sets and costumes, sketches for performances and layouts. The festival is traditionally played by the theater named after Volkova.

This year, students from 18 theatrical universities of the country came to a meeting in Yaroslavl. They will show twenty performances staged in various genres. The first festival event took place before the official opening of the forum. At the Teaching Theater, Boris Lyubimov, the rector of the Shchepkinsky school, gave a lecture. The first performance shown on the festival stage was Ivanov, the graduation work of GITIS graduates.

Olga Nikiforova, who carries out the artistic management of the festival, said that each participant will receive a gift - a book from the actor’s library, which is no longer with us. He collected books all his life.
