As part of the displays in an interactive form, two children’s sessions have already been held, to which students of junior and middle classes of secondary schools of the city were invited. Now in the lobby of the shopping center is a photo exhibition entitled "Diversity is priceless." Later, as part of the film festival about people with disabilities, an awarding ceremony will be held for the winners of the competition of journalists from various media of the Republic of Buryatia, who covered the topic of disability among people.

This year, the organizers of the festival, with the support of the Ulan-Ude Social Protection Administration, invited elderly people living in the Ulan-Ude Integrated Social Service Center "Trust" and also citizens of the "third-age institution" to the shows. Especially for them, at one of the sessions an animated picture “Wrinkles” will be demonstrated, in which the author highlights the problems of aging. “Thus, we want to ensure the interaction between young people and the elderly. And also to show that old age is not the end, but, perhaps, the beginning of something new, ”said Galina Gorbatykh, one of the organizers of the festival, chairman of the RPF“ Society without Barriers ”.

In total, two animated films will be shown today at the film festival - these are the paintings "Macropolis" (Great Britain ") and" Punks "(Ireland); three feature films - “The Sound of My Leg” (Iran), “Inside I Dance” (France-Ireland-Great Britain) and “Wrinkles” (Spain); as well as three short films “Clay” (France), “Bastion” (Great Britain) and “Interviewer” (Spain).

Recall that the opening of the first International Film Festival “Cinema Without Barriers” took place in Moscow in September 2002. The first republican film festival in Buryatia was held in 2004.
