ROSTOV-ON-DON. Today, February 18, at 18:00 in the Palace of Culture "Rostselmash" the opening of the festival of family cinema "Up". The organizer of the shows is the Moscow Foundation for the Development of the Society Our Children.
The festival of family cinema was opened by the main character of the film "Rowan Waltz", Honored Artist of Russia Vladislav Vetrov and general producer of the company "Film Program 21 Century" Vladimir Yesinov.
After the grand opening, the premiere of the documentary film “Graduation in the minefield” took place. The film is dedicated to the rear workers during the Great Patriotic War - girls and boys sent from school to mine clearing fields in the Vologda region.
After watching the movie “Graduation at the minefield”, the audience will be shown the film “Rowan Waltz” (Russia, 2009 onwards), which received the Golden Eagle in 2011. Its plot is based on the real story of the exploit of young miners who, for three years, risked their lives when neutralizing minefields. Every day they endangered themselves, but, despite the hard work, they managed to maintain a pure soul and the ability to love.
At the end of the shows, a round table will be organized with Vladislav Vetrov and Vladimir Yesinov, followed by a discussion of previously shown paintings.
