KAZAN. The festival "Ikariada-2014" for the 13th time brought together student theater groups in the country so that viewers can get acquainted with the creativity of young people who have chosen the stage of the theater for their implementation. The opening of the youth theater forum took place on the stage of the theater. Tinchurina December 3rd.
The opening ceremony began with a film cut, in which shots were used that captured the famous miniatures performed by Arkady Raikin. The Ikariad festival is named after the great artist. Using these miniatures, the organizers of the festival program created images that were directly related to the participants of the theater forum - their own instructions were prepared for them by a jury member, theater critic and spectator who decided to impartially evaluate the work of young artists.
After such an original prologue, official guests appeared on the stage who arrived with congratulations to the participants of Ikariad-2014. Among the congratulatory persons was Andrei Kondratiev, representing the Government of the Republic of Tatarstan, Dilia Khairutdinova, representative of the Ministry of Culture of Tatarstan. Since the owner of the festival is KNITU-KAI named after Tupolev, a welcoming word sounded from Nikolai Malivanov, vice-rector of the institute.
Student groups representing nine Russian cities arrived at the festival. Some cities are represented by more than one theater, so the number of participants totals twelve groups. The festival program is extremely eventful, as there are only three competitive days. During these days, festival participants will compete for the festival’s Grand Prix. In addition to the main prize, the organizers have provided many more awards in various nominations. The winners will receive them on December 7th, on the closing day of Ikariada 2014.
