BRYANSK. Artists of the Oryol Free Space Theater use every opportunity to introduce theatergoers from other Russian cities to their best works. They brought to Bryansk one of their recent prime minister - the tragic story told by the Ukrainian classic Ivan Franko in the play "Stolen Happiness".

On the stage of “Free Space”, this play was directed by the director Linas Zaykauskas, whose work is well known to the audience of many Russian cities. The director has accounted for about 60 performances staged on the stages of drama and opera houses, working as the main director in famous theaters in Russia. The performance "Stolen Happiness" Oryol artists opened last theatrical season.

Then the actors of the “Free Space” were excited - whether the public would like their work, how they would perceive the tragic events shown on the stage of the theater. It turned out that both the public and the critics were satisfied with the performance. The Oryol artist was entrusted with opening the Chekhov festival in Yalta with the performance “Stolen Happiness”.

Spectators of Bryansk saw "Stolen Happiness" on the stage of the regional drama named after A.K. Tolstoy. For some viewers, the performance seemed difficult for perception, but the main part empathized with the heroes of the play, because the story, where there is love, jealousy and revenge, could not leave the audience indifferent.

The performer of the role of Mikola, Valery Lagosha, said that the work on the production was not easy. The director tried to preserve the spirit of the author of the play in the play, which he managed to do. Each viewer will be able to see the pains and injustices of the world, giving rise to despair, in the problems that affected the heroes of the play.

After the artists went to bow, the audience awarded them with prolonged applause.
