The laboratory will introduce its participants to new directors and new plays. Oleg Loevsky, speaking at a press conference, said that during the laboratory festival, preliminary shows of nine performances will be prepared, some of which will later turn into full-fledged theater productions, and some may disappear. The main motive of the festival is to attract the younger generation to the theater.

Anatoly Barsukov, director of the Youth Theater, noted that previously there were pedagogical departments in the theaters, whose employees worked with young spectators. Now they practically do not exist. Therefore, the program of the festival is planned to hold master classes designed for school teachers.

They will help teachers learn how to instill interest in the theater for children, and will tell you how to better organize a discussion of watched performances. These master classes for teachers are included in the New Generation and Theater Lesson projects, which are part of the festival laboratory. They will be conducted by the best teachers of Russian theater universities.

Talking about the directors involved in the project, Oleg Loevsky noted their professionalism. Among the participants are not only Russian directors. Two participants came from abroad - Italy and Mexico.
