Then, with a greeting addressed to the participants, Eleanor Makarova, who was the chairman of the jury at the Tambov festival, spoke. She noted the importance of the opening festival, as its participants are, along with professionals, student and amateur theaters.

After the ceremony, the audience presented their work by artists from the city of Odintsovo near Moscow - the theater-studio "Our Home". The play entitled "Little Things in Life" was staged according to Chekhov’s stories. The end of each story was accompanied by loud applause from the audience.

Then the audience met with the actors. The meeting participants expressed their admiration for the artists, asked about whether it is difficult to embody Chekhov characters on the stage. The audience was especially surprised when they learned that there were unprofessional actors on the stage.

For each festival day, three performances are planned, the last of which will be shown on October 31 by the Chamber Scene Theater, which arrived from Samara.
