The festival of youth theaters "Minifest" takes place in Rostov-on-Don Automatic translate
ROSTOV-ON-DON. The opening of the Minifest festival, which took place this year on October 3rd, gathered a considerable number of spectators in the square in front of the regional youth theater. For them, a festive performance was shown by the artists of the theaters participating in the festival.
The opening ceremony took place on the stage of the theater, where Alexander Rezvanov, Minister of Culture of the region, congratulated the guests and participants of the Minifest, some of whom came from other countries. Congratulations were also voiced from a lovely fairy - a symbol of the Minifest youth festival that appeared on the stage of the theater.
After all kind words were addressed to the participants of the festival, artists from Belarus appeared on the stage. Minsk Theater Y. Kupala brought the wonderful comedy “Office”. Even the language barrier did not prevent the enthusiastic reaction of the public - the artists played the performance in Belarusian.
Of course, the kindredness of languages was important for understanding the text, but the talent and professionalism of Belarusian artists played the main role in such a warm reception of the audience. Ekaterina Averkova, the director of the play, added a fair share of the grotesque to the comedy play, thanks to which the characters of the heroes of the play received even more expressiveness.
The following performance was shown in the Regional House of Folk Art. The theater from St. Petersburg successfully combined participation in the Minifest with a tour to Rostov-on-Don, presenting The Quiet Don as directed by Grigory Kozlov. Silent Don, which arrived from St. Petersburg, became the absolute record holder of the festival - the performance lasted eight hours.
Viewers will see six more performances, among which there will be an Israeli theater in Russian. The Rostov Theater will present the comedy Mr. Ibrahim.
