For the first time in Russia, Toshiki Okada, a Japanese playwright and director, will show her work on the stage of the Theater of the Moon. He is the author of many popular performances, his works have been awarded literary and theatrical prizes.

Spectacles of European capitals managed to see the performances of his theater company, and now the Russian audience will be able to appreciate the director, to whom he will present the performance “Vanilla Dream”. Luke Perceval, who won the Stanislavsky Prize last year, will present his new work. The performance “Platonov” staged by the Belgian director will be shown on the stage of the Pushkin Theater. Following Perceval, the world famous director Eymuntas Nyakroshus will show his new production here. “The Book of Job” is the name of the play, in which the Lithuanian master used the motives of the Old Testament.

The festival performances will end with a new directorial version of The Cherry Orchard from director Lev Dodin and the Theater of Europe. As usual, viewers will see the program of the capital’s theaters.
