“The festival’s activities are aimed at preserving the unified spiritual and cultural-historical space of Russia, at establishing spiritual guidelines. The festival’s organizers aim at supporting, encouraging and uniting documentary filmmakers whose films are imbued with love for Russia, for their people, ”the press release said.
According to one of the jury members, VGIK professor and Honored Worker of Culture of the Russian Federation Galina Prozhiko, a modern documentary is not only a reflection of reality, but also an incentive for people to change, move along their spiritual path.
