MOSCOW. The Theater Center “On Strastnoy” gathered representatives of the young generation of actors, directors and theater experts to the theater forum “Artmigration”. The opening of the festival took place on the stage of the Center on September 8th. Festival participants came not only from Russian cities. On a competitive basis, having won grants, young specialists from professions related to the theater world arrived in the capital.
In the forum program, its organizers provided for master classes and acting trainings. The master class presented under the title “Homer in Action” will be conducted by Stafis Livafinos, director and teacher from Greece. At the actor’s training, forum participants will get acquainted with the director from Yekaterinburg, Vyacheslav Kokorin.
There will be a laboratory where young theater critics will meet. Its head is the famous theater expert Pavel Rudnev. Forum participants will be presented with the live magazine “Theater”, led by Marina Davydova. It is difficult to list everything that the forum organizers came up with and included in the festival program.
Even before the start of the Art Migration, a competition was held among regional theaters. Theaters participated in it, where young directors who were educated in the capital’s theater universities work, and then returned to their hometowns, continuing their creative activity.
Five theaters will show their performances on the stage of the Center. Within the framework of the forum, spectators and participants of the festival will see performances presented by theaters from Tomsk, Vladimir, Tyumen, Tula and Lesosibirsk. The spectators were the first to see the play “The Freebie” staged in the Tula drama by director Evgeny Malenchev.
On the closing day of the forum, September 13th, a meeting will be held with the director Anatoly Vasiliev and the screening of his film-performance Medea. Material".
