Project "Platform" opened the new season with the performance of "Fairies" Automatic translate

MOSCOW. The Platform project, working in the Vinzavod CSI space, opened the new season on August 8 with the performance of Fairy. This performance was created about three years ago by French director David Bobe. Then the director and author of the play Renan Chenot came to Russia together, talked a lot with the actors of the "Seventh Studio" who participated in the production of the play.

Thanks to communication with young actors, the playwright managed to adapt the play to Russian realities. The play raises the main problems of modern society, where live communication between people replaces consumption and politics. The realities of today give rise to difficulties for a person not only in establishing contact with the surrounding society, but also with himself.

In fact, the play "Fairies" is a pamphlet that tells about the difficulties that exist in modern society, where there is no place for lively and sincere communication between people. During the rehearsals of the play, the actors of the Seventh Studio were active participants in the transformation of the text of the play, so they can be considered co-authors of the French playwright.

Now, the artists decided to return to this performance again, restoring it as part of the Platform project. Three years ago, Ilya Shagalov and Zhenya Berkovich were assistant directors David Bobe. Ilya Shagalov worked on the current version of the play as a director of restoration, being extremely careful about the authors’ plan.

As before, the scene of the performance is the bathroom. For many people, this room becomes the only one where you can be left alone, to be alone with your own thoughts, try to find answers to hundreds of "uncomfortable" questions lurking in their head. The decision of the artists to return to the Fairies says that the young, as before, are tormented by questions that have no answers.
