"Beautiful Far Away" - Premiere at the Moscow Provincial Theater Automatic translate
MOSCOW. On April 25, the Moscow Provincial Theater presented another premiere of its first theater season. The play "Beautiful Far Away", staged by novice director Pavel Artemyev, based on the play of young playwright Danila Privalov, was the third production to replenish the repertoire of the recently opened provincial theater.
Pavel Artemyev recently graduated from GITIS, where he received the specialty of director in the workshop of Leonid Kheifets. In an interview given to the media after the premiere of the performance, Sergey Bezrukov said that he was pleased with the work of the director and the acting team.
Pavel Artemyev personally selected the actors, and although the artistic director controlled the production process, he did not intervene in the selection of actors. The result was a performance during which laughter in the hall was replaced by tears welling up in front of the audience. The author of the play defined the genre of his work - “sad utopia”. The creators of the play on his poster added a subtitle - "Fantasy in two parts."
Indeed, a touching and sad story appeared before the audience, forcing a fresh look at what was happening in life for each of them. There are six characters on stage, their earthly life is a thing of the past. The heroes of the play turned into angels living in paradise. Only now the problems of that life, which they now call "Freedom", do not let them go.
Every angel holds in his heart the hope of returning to the past, where there were unfinished business, unsolved problems. They have already come to terms with the eternal longing that accompanies their "paradise" life. However, the new angel who arrived breaks the usual rhythm of the life of angels who, even in this strange paradise, did not receive happiness.
The play “The Beautiful Far Away” is about the value of life, which gives everyone a chance to change it.
