MOSCOW. On March 26, a presentation of a book written by well-known critic and theater expert Vera Maximova took place in the capital’s small theater. The book was published under the title "And it’s all about him," and it is dedicated to the head of the Maly Theater Yuri Solomin.

Over the past two years, Yuri Mefodevich celebrated two anniversaries - in 2012, the director celebrated 55 years of work on the Maly stage, and in 2013, the 25th anniversary of his work as art director of his native theater.

Therefore, the book, presented by Vera Maksimova, became a natural and deserved continuation of the celebration of the artist. Thanks to the book, fans of Yuri Solomin got the opportunity to get acquainted in detail not only with the creative life of the actor and director, but also to learn about his life outside of his professional career.

It is especially interesting that the book contains many photographs from the archives of the theater. The publication begins with the artist’s childhood, spent in Chita, about his move to Moscow.
