The tour version of the play "They got married ..." was shown in the "Theater" Automatic translate
MOSCOW. The day of all lovers in the "Theater on Serpukhovka" was marked by a free screening of the play "They got married, and they have…", intended for teenagers. This performance, staged by the French director Sylvian Fortuny, has already been seen by many theater fans, but now it has been shown in a unique way, becoming a kind of experiment. Now this production is simultaneously in two languages, and French actors take part in it.
The reason for the experiment was the work of Sylvian Fortuni, born of an international project created to use the experience of European theaters in Russia in performances for children and adolescents. The performance staged at the Teatrium on Serpukhovka turned out to be of interest to the French company.
For the show in France, it was necessary to prepare its tour version, making it so that, while preserving the presence of the Russian language, create a production understandable to French viewers. For this purpose, in addition to the eight actors of Theatrium, two French actors were invited to participate in the play.
At the beginning of the play, they only comment on events on the stage, making the events understandable to the French-speaking audience, but gradually begin to tell their story, turning from commentators into characters in the production. Therefore, in this version of the play, another storyline is added. A new version of the play was prepared in just two weeks.
In March, the French audience will see the bilingual performance. The capital’s audience, who were fortunate enough to see the unique work of the theater, had another surprise - after the performance, they were able to discuss the production with the director of the play, Silvian Fortuni, Teresa Durova and Marina Raikina, curator of the project.
