Despite the fact that the time when the performance takes place is two hundred years from today, the play by Marius Ivashkevichus, built on the dialogue of guests with the owner of the house, full of philosophical considerations, is a comedy. Little time is left before the New Year, so it can be imagined as a New Year’s fairy tale intended for adult viewers.

Muscovites are already familiar with the work of the playwright based on the play Madagascar, the production of which was brought to the capital by Rimas Tuminas. It was a story full of incredible absurdity and irony about how Lithuanians moved to Africa. Now on the stage of “Mayakovka” the performance “Kant” has appeared. Since the text of the play is still not simple, the director, together with stage designer Sergey Barkin, decided to place the actors and spectators in the chamber.

It was created on the main stage by placing the hexagon-amphitheater on it. There is a table in it, where there are 12 people who arrived for lunch with the philosopher, as well as 140 spectators. In the role of Kant - Mikhail Filippov. Among the participants in the play are Svetlana Nemolyaeva, Igor Kostolevsky and others, beloved by the audience, theater actors.
