MOSCOW. In the RAMT theater in the evening, dedicated to the memory of Victor Rozov, the centenary of the most famous playwright who worked in the twentieth century was celebrated. The heirs of the playwright took the initiative to organize the evening, and the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation supported this project.

The evening took place within the walls of RAMTA, since even at the time when this group was known as the Central Children’s Theater, the birth of Victor Rozov, a playwright, took place here. On its stage in 1949, one of the playwright’s first plays, Her Friends, was staged. Over the years of the existence of the Central House of Artists, ten premieres took place in the theater based on the works of Rozov, among which were plays that became cult for several generations.

The heroes of his plays were young people looking for their place in life. With the plays written by the playwright, a new era of theatrical life began, and the concept of “pink boys” has firmly entered the history of Russian drama. This era was firmly connected with the names of Efros and Efremov, with the emergence, which has long become legendary, of the Sovremennik Theater, whose history began with the play Eternally Alive.

This year, many events were held dedicated to the anniversary of the famous playwright. The theater project "Finding Rozov" has just completed. Within the framework of the festival, the famous capital’s theaters showed performances staged based on the plays of the playwright. RAMT provided his small stage to the youth project “Pink Readings”, and in the Museum named after Bakhrushin opened an exhibition dedicated to the playwright.

The finale of the project dedicated to the anniversary of Victor Rozov was an evening on the main stage of the RAMT, where the audience saw the reconstructed office of the playwright with his genuine things. Representatives of actors of different generations Masters celebrated the century with a literary and musical composition.
